This isn’t your typical improv course. Over the course of 6 weeks, we’ll interactively explore the foundations of improv like “yes, and”, making strong choices, listening, and supporting one another. However, we believe that everybody already knows how to play, and we don’t want you to get bogged down in structures.
Together, we will cultivate a supportive environment where bold choices are welcome, where we can explore our free expression, and where we can deeply connect with our bodies and one another.
Ultimately, though, everything we do has a foundation in mindfulness. We will drop into stillness together and play from this place.
This is good for:
If you want to speak up with more confidence at work. This is Presence and Voice practice. You'll leave with more range for the moments that used to make you shrink.
If you want to actually do something about your social anxiety instead of just reading about it. This is Regulation and Capacity building. An immersive room to practice, not another framework to think about.
If you just want to laugh until it hurts. This is Play and Community. No agenda required. Come for the fun, that's plenty.
If you're a personal development junkie who's done the meditation apps, the therapy, the books, and knows the next level of growth happens in a room with other people. It's the piece the solo work can't give you. And, it’s a reminder that growth can also be ridiculously fun.
